We had a lovely dinner here! The food and drinks were well-thought out and better prepared. The background music was perfect for the setting. I was particularly impressed with the owner who seemed to interact personally with all of the customers, was very friendly, but did not intrude on our meal. I will definitely be going back!

Unfortunately they had a horrible bad showing on Valentine's Day. Worse, it was our 1st visit. Was excited to take my wife but it turned out to be the worst experience we've ever had at a high-ranking OPENTABLE restaurant (or ANY restaurant!). we left even though the meal courses were not completed. Poor service. The owner was trying his best and attempted to apologies regularly. His other server was extremely rude, not considerate and visibly frustrated. Not customer-centric at all. He even took the salt / pepper shAkers from our table 2x's to provide to another table. It took >1hour for us to get the 1st of a set 3 course Valentine's Day meal special. We left after a 2hrs as it was just too long, unproductive + the food was nowhere worth the rating. i considered it a comedy of errors, my wife on the other hand... ! they reduced the bill after we challenged. My wife called days later to inform the owner of the disappointment, he offered us a free meal on return.

We chose the 4 courses & 4 matching wine option, actually turned out as 2 glasses of white, 1 of red, 1 vueve champagne and a cocktail, all for only 30£ a person. Absolute bargain price in a gorgeous restaurant with food that was truly delicious. Only negative would be that service was a little slow although this wasn't much of an issue as it allowed us to enjoy each individual wine choice - perhaps have an extra waiter/ess on when the restaurant is full. Would thoroughly recommend, amazed at what we received for such a relatively small price

Terrible experience. Took an hour to get the meal from the appetizer. Took nearly as long to get dessert. Took forever to get the bill and even longer to then pay the bill with a credit card. It felt like the restaurant was woefully understaffed with two people in the front of house. We heard other tables complaining so it wasn't just us. Soup was undersalted and the fish was way too salty. The crumble was poor. Don't understand why this restaurant was highly rated.

Dissapointed with the restaurant the website picture menu looked really nice, but the food was very ordinary, dry burger over cooked dry sea bass with ordinary veg The waiter was not very friendly and welcoming at all and a few items missing from the menu. The downstairs room where the toilets was very messy Shame as it looked nice on the website

Has a lot of competition from some very good other restaurants on this strip of Hollywood Road so needs to be good to survive. We were the first to arrive on Sunday lunch and it stayed quiet the whole meal but the service was very friendly. Biggest disappointment was the Lobster linguine main course that we both had .... unfortunately the portions are too small and just not enough lobster added! Apart from this the starters were tasty and everything was presented and prepared to a high standard. I will try again and hopefully have an even better experience.

Great location and very friendly staff. Struggled to work out why at one point we were the only people in the place, it was a shame. Couldn't fault it from our experience.

Nice looking restaurant but we were the only dinners so it lacking some atmosphere. Main course were ok we ordered crudités for starter there was no cucumber but had been replaced by cherry tomatoes and was a bit small for sharing. We paid £75 which was half price offer not sure I would be happy if I'd paid full price. Would go back but only if I was passing I would not make a special effort to go there.
