A nice welcome from the hosts followed by some lovely food recommend the mushroom starter and the pork special. All served within a lovely old worlde setting.

Lovely place, nice food, good service was just unfortunately very quiet. Was a Thursday night so should be a bit livelier at the weekend. However if you want a very quiet atmosphere...

We have eaten here a few times and it has always been superb, the food is very good and the staff are so nice, we will definitely be eating here again.

Lovely old pub setting, tasty food, good value. Haphazard service with a little more training required for the junior staff, toilets could do with improvement. Annoyed that they started noisily rearranging the furniture around us towards the end of our meal - a small apology or 'excuse us' would have solved this. Would go back tho.

Lovely little restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. The decor is lovely and the tables not crammed in like a lot of places these days. Service was good and not rushed so you didn’t feel like you were on any time limit. The food was lovely and for £20 for 3 courses I thought a bargain. They were also very accommodating to our newborn and his space hugging pram! I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a beautiful meal to celebrate my 40th birthday. The food was delicious - great choice, the wine was lovely and the service excellent. Will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend.
