Join Chef Stuart Myers and his wife Jo, as they warmly welcome you into their intimate and unique restaurant, to enjoy dishes from their creative and inventive small plates menu. Running such a small kitchen allows Stuart to change menus regularly, reflecting the changing seasons and availability of produce. Working with local producers he is able to add varied and exciting specials each week, to a menu that changes on a monthly basis. Particularly popular is the #RootsToShoots Vegetarian menu.

Opening at 5.30pm, The Swine That Dines, is an ideal choice for a pre theatre meal. Especially given it’s close proximity to The Grand Theatre, City Varieties and the First Direct Arena.

Always a brilliant menu and makes for a wonderful mid week treat! Be prepared to add a couple of optional courses and remember to take your own wine, but you will not leave disappointed!

When I arrived the restaurant did not have my reservation as OpenTable had not passed it on. I appreciate that you are no longer working with this restaurant but to not pass on the bookings you had taken is very negligent. As it happened they could fit us in the same evening, though over an hour later and on a table which wasn't ideal. Your failure to pass on this booking would have resulted in a ruined birthday meal for my partner. The restaurant saved the day but I would not recommend your booking service to anyone.

Had the evening tasting menu on the vegetarian weekend, which was a surprise to my carnivore husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was an interesting and tasty menu. The service was friendly and helpful.
