It therefore serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital's top end establishments.The comfortable and stylish dining room is a vibrant, busy and friendly place to be with service that is highly professional yet relaxed and informal.

From the outset La Trompette has been showered with accolades, a reflection of the love, care and energy that is invested in the restaurant by the dedicated team behind it. La Trompette was awarded a Michelin star in 2008.

Terrific food, wonderful wine, and an exceptional cheese trolley (with accompanying 3 x port selection) sealed an extravagant, but well worth it, evening!

As usual the food and service was great. I’m vegetarian and love the truffle linguini, the amazing selection of wine, and of course the cheese board. I am a little paranoid about the current risks and discretely asked for a table away from others. They put me in the room next door, about 5m away from everyone else. Great friendly service as usual.

Living just round the corner, I'm a regular diner. The food is always excellent, the service attentive without being overpowering, and the ambiance warm and friendly. And still no music, thank goodness. Once again an excellent lunch.

La Trompette is our favourite restaurant. We live in Southampton but travel up to London as we love the food so much. We always have the tasting menu. All the staff are lovely.

Absolutely fabulous food. Chose from the a la carte menu and every course was perfect. I had cheese for desert. The cheese cart choice was fantastic, some of the tastiest cheeses I've had in a long time. Topped off with the perfect salted caramel tuffle. The servcie was superb as well.

Excellent Friday lunch. We had the tasting menu with wine flight and couldn’t fault any of the dishes. Delicious. Will definitely return.
