Dating from the early 1800s and retaining many original features including wooden beams and inglenook fireplaces and boasting an award-winning country garden, The Swan Stewkley was reopened under new management in June 2015.

Today we offer an authentic country dining experience. Our menu changes daily but includes a variety of classic dishes made from prime cuts of matured beef and ethically sourced market-fresh fish, followed by quintessential English desserts.

We offer a range of exclusive Fine Wines sourced directly from small, family vineyards in France, Italy and England accompanied by a carefully selected portfolio of our favourite varieties from around the world.

The Swan seems to have got its act together at last. The food was excellent and sensibly priced. Service was good and most tables full. Well done to Rachel for sorting out the previous mess .… keep it up, we will be back.

The food was good but the presentation made it all seem a bit drab. There were a number of issues one of dishes was later than the others (we were told the chief had an accident) another was the wrong order. Staff were inexperienced. This was all disappointing as it had the potential to be a really nice venue

Food quality good but service not in line with prices. Not sure if I am in a pub or a gastropub wannabe. Love the Swan pub so would recommend but only for special occasions where you want to stay close to home.
