Ever wondered how much a dash, drizzle or pinch may be and how much is too much? Explore these questions and other culinary quandaries with Chef Eliza on Thursdays, from 11:00 to 2:30. Chef Eliza will demonstrate 12 dishes and Sommelier Sophie will pour 10 wines, harmonizing or juxtaposing the cuisine. Recipes feature summer flavors and lesser known ingredients. Learn from Sophie the art of wine pairing and dive into the regions and varietals of wine. Take with you all of the recipes, a full tummy and a bevy of new friends. Feel free to request a date for a class that fits your schedule. Most of our classes are held on Thursdays but we are open to private classes any day of the week.

Super knowledgeable staff, great wine recommendation from sommelier, food was my favorite in Telluride (and we ate at all the “hotspots”). I almost came back the next night before a show we had tickets for. That’s how great it was. Loved every bit of it!

Well presented and delicious, interesting food and a good choice of reasonably priced US wines. In Vail before coming to Telluride and this was the best meal we’ve had.

Everything about 221 is always excellent. We're vegetarians and the fact that they have an entire vegetarian menu means a lot to us. The service is excellent and the menu choices are flavorful and clever.

We had a terrific dinner at 221 South Oak. To start, the location was a very easy short walk to get to using the Telluride gondola. We each had the bison short ribs which were fantastic and plentiful. Our server was very friendly and engaging and was at the table at just the right time. Highly recommended.

Over the top great dining experience. Staff are all fun and professional. The vegetarian menu was filled with option and much appreciated. Ravioli was fantastic. All six in our party enjoyed cocktails and variety of menu items. If we come back to ski we’ll be back for dinner.
