Don’t go for ANY special occasion. We made a reservation for 8:45 on Valentines. Got seated at 9:30. Didn’t get food or sodas for AN HOUR! We saw the manager taking shots and stumbling into the back. I’ve been here before and it was moderately nice, but on any other night other than midday during the week, it’s too loud, servers have no clue what they are doing, and they charged us $49 for a piece of sashimi.

It was Valentine’s Day so we understand it was busy but the room was freezing cold and the food took over an hour to come out.

I have been a regular at Taiko since 2020 now and the quality and service never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh and amazing. This is my favorite restaurant on Long Island hands down!

Everything was great except that we had a reservation and still had to wait an hour to be seated with kids. So I was a little disappointed in that but otherwise we love this place!
