    I've been going there since it opened in 1987. I feel like an old friend is moving away. I wish they would relocate and reopen. It is yet another piece of our old Raleigh dissapearing. Truly sad.

    Too bad the peers sold out and did not leave a historic restaurant in place. Raleigh is losing its small town appeal.

    Our server was so excellent! The food was cooked perfectly. We will miss this so much—not many places to get this level of delicious seafood at this price. What a gem.

    Great crowd but sorry to hear about month end closing. I built a great company from the first oyster stub out during the monthly letting.

    Fabulous meal, outstanding service from an iconic restaurant. 42nd Street will be greatly missed when they close the end of March. They had a good run!
