The beautifully restored historic mansion offers intimate dining in 8 elegantly appointed rooms, as well as a beautiful 2-tiered riverside terrace for alfresco dining. 529 serves exclusively Prime Beef, the best available in Canada, as well as fresh fish and seafood. The restaurant is proud to offer Manitoba’s highest rated wine list, Wine Spectator Magazine’s Best of Award of Excellence since 2004. Please note: 529 Wellington is a two-storied building without an elevator. Please indicate if there are any mobility issues for any diners in the party.

    Beautiful restaurant with incredible staff. Although I learned that Prime Rib is not for me (preference only, not a reflection on the restaurant), the food was very good. The staff was even better; excellent servers, all wait staff were helping each other and attentive to tables that weren't even theirs, persay. Very knowledgable and professional. Will definitely enjoy again soon.

    Service was very good. The food was excellent especially the Rockefeller oysters. Our server Micheal was terrific.

    Great evening, food was fantastic, Russell our server was exceptional. There is something about a restaurant that understands how timing of each dish makes the evening go so smoth.

    Great ambiance, service is second to none, and the food is always amazing - regardless of if you get a burger, salmon, or steak. Price may be an issue for those who have always wanted to try, but the lunch menu is fairly prices (ie. we paid $220 for 3 people, including tip and drinks and coffee).

    All food was amazing, appetizers, mains and dessert. Our waiter was a friendly gentleman and service was prompt, and we were regularly checked in on. The price tag might appear high but it’s the cost of high quality ingredients. Highly recommend the blueberry bread pudding for dessert.

    I frequently dine at 529 and it always surpasses my expectations. This time was no exception. There were 2 of us, celebrating with our annual Christmas lunch. We enjoyed such attentive service and fabulous food, as always! Highly recommended if you want to feel truly special!

    I took my son to celebrate his 18th Birthday. When we arrived at the table, the staff had a signed birthday card for him! So sweet! The food was delicious and he service was incredible. Thank you for making this a special evening for us!
