Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

The steak was delicious along with the mashed potatoes. The spinach was too salty, but cooked correctly so it wasn’t mushy. The panna cotta was amazing! Our server was very attentive and kind.

I added 2 more people to our open door reservation and the table was only set for 2. Open door initiated the request but did not follow through. Luckily it worked out and we did have a nice table. My lollipop lamb was “chewy” - I couldn’t cut it with my knife. I wondered if it was a little undercooked. As a result, I would not order it again. Everyone else enjoyed their selections. Dessert was good. Service was attentive and sufficient - no complaints - but not very friendly.

Terry - Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you had a frustrating time with Open Table. Many times guest do not see or forget to hit the last button to processes the reservation. As for your Lamb Pops, yes they are very chewy if under cooked. I am dissapointed you did not let your foodserver know, for we could have rectified the issue very easlily and immediately for your enjoyment. Don't give up on the Lamb Pops they are very good when done right. I am also dissappointed that your food server did not create a better impression upon your group. Your server does have a reserved personality, is very attentive and efficent but a little introverted at times. I apologize we didn't do better. I thank you very much for your patronage and hope that you will give 740 Front another opportunity.

Thomas was a wonderful server. He was personable, funny and efficient. The food was fantastic, the aged steak incredible. The Black Forest pie was really tasty as well.

Excellent service! Our waiter recommended the specialty old fashioned and my husband loved it. Our steaks were cooked to perfection.

Fabulous experience start to finish. Orange Roughy, shrimp & scallops were delicious. Loved the ceviche. Great wine selection & fresh salads. Reasonably priced. Service was top notch. We will definitely go back.

Tristan was great! The 45 day dry aged Ribeye was so delicious. Wedge salad so good! The bone in ribeye was a bit tough. Had a great night with friends
