We've been coming here for awhile, celebrating Thanksgivings, Christmas' and other big events. The reservation procedure was a joke this time. We spent months trying to get two tables in the main steak room, to celebrate our daughter's wedding with our of town guests. We had our reservations in place, only to get seated in two separate areas. One area being the substandard, lack of ambiance Garden Room. We were met by 0 understanding by staff, embarrassed in front of our family and friends, not to mention strangers who wondered what the commotion was about. Sadly, after tonight's fiasco, this will be our last event celebrated at the Madonna Inn.

It is almost impossible to serve 1,500 meals perfectly. So, I ordered the Swordfish this year and it was below the proper temperature. It was close to me asking for wasabi. This is our 4th time on a holiday and we will probably be back but I will change what I order. I will stick to Steak or Turkey. The restaurant is decked out and the staff is very good for the amount of diners.

As always, we have a great experience from food to service. My review is of the ambiance for the season. I feel like its lacking from expected. Christmas music was not turned on when we got seated and when it was played it was on and off. We had few table napkins in our table that were stained. Other than that, staff gave their best service.

I love the Madonna inn, but this experience was not as good as i was hoping. Started out great, they brought bread and nice finger foods, but we were brought the wrong thing 4 times after our order was taken, and they didnt take a lot of our plates out of the way so we were cramped. Got judgmental looks from servers. The food was alright, but the cake was the only think we were really excited about. We totally understand it was christmas eve, but we just noticed those tiny things that need a bit of work! Other than that, it was an okay experience.

Both my Daughter and I had the rib eye steaks . It looked so delicious BUT we were unable to eat them because it had so much grissle we couldn’t chew them. We feel bad because we both looked forward to our meals.

Loved the festive decorations and sparkling lights on scale with the large space. The appetizer was on our table when we were seated. A pleasant cup of crab bisque was just enough so that we could still have room for our entree. We both ordered the prime rib ( a huge slab each done exactly as requested), fluffy baked potato, and crispy snap peas. Our server was delightful who kept a perfect pace and checked back with us often. Given it was Christmas Eve and both restaurants were packed, the service and staff were amazing, friendly, calm, and well organized. We truly appreciated the holiday, uplifting atmosphere, good food, and excellent service. What a professional, well planned and smooth operation for an impressive number of diners. Thank you!
