Restaurant was cold and breezy- menu lacks choice - would be nice to have vegetables with the fondue. Restaurant feels cluttered and messy. Probably won’t go again.

Food was very good. Service was attentive but not overbearing. However, seemed a bit overpriced for what we got. You’ll eat well, but definitely pay for it.

It feels very European! Yes- it is a tight space, but feels like fondue in the Alps. Food was great!

One waiter waiting 3 tables… should not have been a big deal. The place was very small and quiet. Our party of 6 was crammed in a back room with a family of 4. They gave us their wine because the waiter got their order wrong. He also got our drink order wrong and never brought our bottle of wine to us …or water, after continually asking for water. Finally we got up and found our own pitcher of water. We asked for another pitcher as we were so thirsty. Never got that either. Two of our three food orders came out wrong. Our overpriced steak that was apparently service for 2, was a 6 oz steak and nothing special. The salmon smelled very fishy and we couldn’t stomach it. One meal was brought before the fondue, which he said was coming right out … but never did. Still… no water. We were all dipping bread and veggies from one pot because at this point we were quite hungry…. And very thirsty. Got a bill for over $400. Called the manager and really just got excuses. He told us to pay whatever we wanted for the meal. We headed up to tomboy tavern where we were greeted with 2 jugs of water already on the table. The food was great as well. Do not waste your time at Alpinist and the Goat.
