Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.

Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.

The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.

We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

Not our first time here but honestly, I have no idea why we don't come more often. We were a group of 14 people, everyone's food was phenomenal and our server Danielle was awesome! We will definitely be back sooner than later!

Our food was absolutely amazing! The baked oysters were PHENOMENAL. Danielle was our server and she was beyond kind and welcoming. As someone who works in hospitality, this place has great service! My only complaint was that the hostess was not welcoming at all. Besides that, our experience was amazing!

We started with the SheCrab soup and fried green tomatoes. Delicious. Best SheCrab soup I’ve ever had. The fried green tomato portion was substantial—with okra and pimento cheese. I added some of the hot sauce that was on the table to the dish. Perfect amount of heat. We then had the sweet and spicy shrimp and a po-boy sandwich. Excellent portion size. Francis was our server and was great with recommendations and explanations. Would definitely go again!

This has become one of our favorite spots in Charleston. The oysters are hands down the best here! Good and service is amazing and sitting at the oyster bar at least once is must! Highly recommend

I think our server had way to many tables for one server. She was very kind but took a while to get us our check and refills. She did a great job though honestly! There were like 3 girls standing by the bar area that was not helping at all and our poor server running around like crazy felt bad for the girl. Food was great!

Great Happy Hour - peel n eat shrimp were delicious. Dinner was excellent- grilled scallops, oysters and shrimp n grits. If you love fresh seafood, you’ll love Amen
