We went for their special prixe fixe menue on Christmas eve and it was an excellent value. Started with a lovely bread basket and fresh butter. Entree was Prime Rib (a bit overdone) with veggies and potatoes, and for an extra $10 salad, a glass of wine and dessert. It was an excellent deal and we had almost the whole restaurant to ourselves. The hotel decorations were lovely and we stopped for a few photos. Parking was $10.

For being in a nice hotel, Ara is more fast casual than fine dining. The wait staff were unprofessional and the atmosphere was similar to a casino buffet. We left after the appetizer and went down the street to another restaurant.

Great food over all good service, great cocktails, they didn’t know it was going to be busy that night of Xmas so food took a while longer and they told us it would. I enjoyed my food and so did my wife. Great job. No consistency on he blackberry basil drink. The rest was really good.
