My boyfriend and I spent over $1k on NYE dinner here. It did not meet our (admittedly high) expectations, nor come even close. We had to wait 30 mins past our reservation time to be seated, and we were seated all the way in the back of the restaurant next to the door into the garden room. Servers were bringing food and drinks in and out of the door all night, causing drafts of cold air and lots of ruckus that took away from the ambiance of the restaurant.
The service was absolutely the best part of the experience. We probably had 8+ people attending to us throughout the night, all very knowledgeable and attentive. You can tell the people who work there are passionate about the food and the craft.
Unfortunately, the food was just not very good. Even the bread was tough and hard to chew. I had the vegan tasting menu, which I was very excited about since it’s difficult as a vegan to dine high-end in this city. Nothing was terrible (except the beet dish, but I hate beets so I wouldn’t fault the chef). Nothing was exceptional, though. The risotto was rather flavorless and the avocado salad had a dressing so mild that it felt like simply eating avocado scooped out of the shell. The vegan “cheese” course was just nuts and some fruit, and the dessert was good, not great. I give them points for inclusivity, but for $1k I’d expect perfection.
Not a bad experience, but one I’d pay no more than $250-$300 for. I hope they can improve upon the consistency of the food while maintaining the wonderful service. Also, don’t seat people back next to the door to the garden room. It was cruel on such a chilly, busy night.

Hey Carson,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that our team provided excellent service, despite the discomfort of your seating location. We're also sorry that our food did not meet your expectations. We take pride in our culinary offerings and we regret that our vegan tasting menu didn't impress you. Your comments about the bread, the beet dish, and the vegan "cheese" course are noted. We appreciate your honesty and will certainly use your feedback to improve. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you in the future.
Best wishes,
The Management Team

The service was good, and the food was solid, but not what I’d expect from a Michelin-star restaurant.
The salad, which I was told was going to be fairly small, turned out to be immense, while the mushroom pillows entree featured approximately five mushroom pillows (ravioli), of which size plate the salad should have been more congruent.
The real disappointment was the wine. It was $123 for the bottle and barely drinkable - flat, no acidity, no flavor, 11% ABV. Also somewhat cloudy. A gnat landed in my glass and even it struggled to drink. I got home and googled the wine - retail for $25. That is an outrageous markup, and the sommelier should be ashamed to have it on the wine list.
Atlas had been amazing pre-pandemic and shortly after the pandemic; I do not know how it got a Michelin star in 2024.

Food was great. The Wagyu add on was exquisite. Very creative and thoughtful tasting menu. Wine pairing was superb. Pacing was a little stretched. Took almost 3 and a half hours to eat roughly 12 total courses including over an hour and a half to eat our final 4.
