                                                                                                      Would not recommend going on a weekend. Great food but super crowded. Took 50 mins to seat our party of 4. A large crowd of young and rowdy 20 year olds were very disruptive. Check your receipt to identify any hidden charges (we had some).

They did not pad the reservation time so they brought us the check before we were finished eating. Also the menu prices in person are different than the menu online and extra things we didn't order was added to our check

                                                                                                      I arrived before the rest of my party and waited for someone to great me at the front door. More than one staff member made eye contact and kept moving on without a word. This happened a number of times… While they were busy, I think it’s still important to at least great guests and let them know someone will be with them shortly. My friends arrived and we were then sat at a very bizarre table at the window, which felt like a makeshift situation - the cushions were too big for the super narrow shaky benches, and the bench that wasn’t against the wall was so rickety, it kept knocking into the wine and cocktails of the party behind us every time we moved! That being said, our server was great and the food was tasty. I’ve been to Balzem a few times now, but won’t be going back. The vibe is definitely now more party scene (which is fine!) and the music gets crazy loud. Just not for me anymore.

                                                                                                      We had a reservation and had arrived 8 minutes late and we were told there was no table for us. That of course was false bc even if we had arrived 8 minutes earlier, the entire place was already full. They clearly overbooked on reservations without caring. They kept us waiting for 50 minutes and finally granted us a table. From then on, the service was beyond slow, drinks took 20minutes to come, food took 40 minutes to come. Overall, slow and the food was average. I did like the ambience of the place with the music but everything else made it so difficult to enjoy fully.

                                                                                                      We were rushed out by the staff who “needed our table”. We weren’t there for long- they over-reserved the room and rushed us. It basically ruined our otherwise decent meal.
