Thank You to the whole team at Bar Boulud. Super friendly, welcoming & professional. From the moment we walked in we where well looked after, drinks topped up & service was AMAZING! I keep returning for the gracious hospitality (sommelier from Bari and greeters at the host stand were wonderful and personalised our experience this time) and for the spotless service and delicious food. Really loved Crab Salad and Beef Rossini!

Boulud is a safe bet if you need to have a bite in the Kengsington neighborhood, it's a nice french bistro at the Manadrin with good quality ingredients and nice professional staff.. I had the veal tartar, very good cut au couteau wich does not crush the meat and leave a clean feel when one eat these micro cubes. I have to say that each time I have black truffle at any Boulud restaurant, in NY , London, or Baltimore, it is tasteless and without the typical perfume, it is always odorless. This for me is a major inconvenient. A real Tuber Melanospurum should fill the room with its smell, if it does not, I suspect it just is not the real one, but a pale imitation from China or somewhere else than Perigord. If you want real truffle in London go to Helene Darose, or a two star Michelin... The pintade fermiere was delicious, very simply presented, a bit too much potatoes, but it was well prepared and coocked. The only things I did not like this time was the special negroni, that is a sweet syrupy american kids decoction, and the fondant au chocolat, a small lava cake identical to any one see in several other restaurants, same taste and aspect, I suspect it is industrialy prepared and shipped world wide frozen to anybody, but I cant prove it. The difference with this one is that it fell on my stomach like a brick and I was I'll for the rest of the day. The tacky embience music match the rich and tacky patrons, probably attracted by the world famous temple of expensive vulgarity nearby: Harrods.

Overall excellent my only suggestion would be to maybe offer another vegetarian option to the veg burger already on the menu (which is delicious) ?
