    We had a late reservation but still had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated, with no apology or drinks while waiting. Our server was polite and fairly attentive, but sometimes hard to hear, mostly because the dining room was quite loud. The steaks were terrific, among the best I've had, and the creamed spinach was delicious. The Kennett Square mushrooms came highly recommended by our server but tasted of burnt garlic. The markup on alcohol (liquor in particular) was absurd, and there were very few options for wine in the sub $100 category. Even with a 200%-300% markup typical of most restaurants, this should be an easy category to fill. People go to places like Barclay Prime to celebrate something or someone special, and when you pay Barclay Prime prices, you expect a special, dazzling experience to match the occasion. While the meal was generally quite good, we were not made to feel special and did not have the dazzling experience you expect from the Starr Group or any high-end steakhouse for that matter.

    I’ve gone several times and have really enjoyed the place. Today, I guess became of the holidays, the quality was not great. I ordered a medium steak and it came medium rare. I shared my concern and they put it back on the grill and it came back medium well. I was also surprised that they put the same piece of steak back on the grill rather than making another one. Lastly, the tater tots were slightly burnt. Not normal, but very surprised at the quality of the food during my visit.

    Barclay Prime is without a doubt the best restaurant we have ever eaten at. I would highly recommend the Filet Mignon and the New York strip. Both were amazing!! Even the Ceaser salad was incredible

    Okay obviously the steak was great - but the hamachi appetizer was one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had. A+++

    This is by far the best steakhouse in Philadelphia. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and it’s been outstanding every time. Tonight was no exception.

    Not the best experience. Took 25 minutes after rez to sit. Didn't get bread for 45 minutes. Steak was not as I remembered. For $85 14 oz ribeye.. I wanna be wowed by the dining experience. Was not to say the least
