   Barndiva is Michelin star quality at an affordable price. The food is just phenomenal. Nothing is ever perfect - they need to bring in a pastry chef as their desserts are not at the same level as the rest of the menu. The wine list is incredibly international with phenomenal choices. I would go back again in a heartbeat!

   Much of the food was good but a salad was so salted it was inedible and one of three steaks was way over cooked. Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. Service was ok, not great.

   Our experience was great! Loved the food! Butternut squash soup was incredible. Had the steak frites and trout, so delicious. Service was great but were a little behind on bringing drinks with desserts but comped a wine to make up for it. Overall, it was amazing. Will be back!

   Would have been a five however was quite shocked with dogs allowed in such a fine dining restaurant. Not service dogs just dogs at the table right next to us what happened with statutes prohibiting pets in restaurants and grocery stores?

   Burger is delicious. Potato leek soup was too smooth and tasted like kfc mashed potatoes. The chicken tikka masala was good but not the best ever - though the hot sauce is amazing. The crème puff dessert is delicious.

   We were disappointed in our experience at Barndiva. We took some very good friends to dinner for their Christmas present and were really quite unpleasantly surprised at a few things. The dinner menu had about five things to pick from for an entrée. One of them was a burger. One was a vegetarian pasta. There were more starters to pick from than entrées.  Our server was slow to serve and unknowledgeable about the dishes. My friend and I ended up having soup and salad for dinner. Our reservation was at 6:30. When I ordered my dinner I asked if I could please have carrot cake for dessert. Our server said they were already sold out of the cake. It was 6:30. My husband had the vegetarian dish and it was the size of an appetizer. It was $30. My friend and I had soup and salad and her husband had a burger. We had six drinks (2 were beers) between the four of us. The bill was over $300. The dining room is now in the room where they used to have events and there’s not much ambience. It just was kind of a bummer experience for a special holiday dinner.

   We drove up from SF because I was excited for their burger. The one I had every few months since 2019. I should have known that when the regular restaurant wasn’t open and we were required to eat at Studio Barndiva, things were not going to be the same as my meal there in 2022. My bf got the NEW burger was mid- I’m not a fan of a burger with tons of cheese jammed in the center. He gave it an 8/10. (The original burger was a hard 10.) I ordered the crispy chicken, which was more like a chicken katsu with Indian spices, and it was great. Would I drive 75 minutes to eat at Studio Barndiva again? Absolutely not. How can I sign up to be notified when their regular restaurant and brunch begin again?

   We had a fabulous time. Excellent service, delicious food and the place is cozy & adorable. Highly recommend it!

    Food is the clear high point. Ambiance is fine although on a cold night and with the restaurant far from full, it was cooler than I would have liked. The drinks are strong and well made but wickedly expensive--over $20 per cocktail. Wine is also pricey with few choices under $100. A 20% tip is mandatory and based on the total bill making alcohol even more expensive. So while the food was very good, I had a potato leek soup that was excellent, and reasonably priced for the quality, I left feeling the meal was not worth the cost.
