Barolo Grill, an award winning Cherry Creek North restaurant, prides itself on serving authentic northern Italian food while maintaining a comfortable, elegant ambience. Known for hand crafted modern Northern Italian cuisine, a Wine Spectator Grand Award winning wine cellar, and knowledgeable, attentive staff, Barolo can be a perfect choice for a special occasion or just a fun night out. Chef Darrel Truett's cuisine focuses on the Northern Italian provinces of Piedmont and Tuscany. Seasonally changing menus feature locally sourced ingredients, proudly supporting regional farms and producers. Owner and wine director Ryan Fletter are proud to feature small family wineries that are dedicated to Earth-friendly farming and winemaking philosophies. Barolo Grill has one of the largest collections of Barolo wines outside of Italy.

                                        Exceptional restaurant. Service at all levels was outstanding. Ambiance was superb - welcoming feeling, tables nicely spaced, noise level tuned to just right, lighting excellent. Menu was nicely limited with an excellent range of foods for every course. Wine list almost intimidating, but there were good choices at all price levels. We enjoyed a nice Super Tuscan. The food was superb, with every item on the plate prepared beautifully and presented with care. This is a special place.

                                        Barolo Grill has been our go-to restaurant for the past year. We typically love the food, service and ambiance. Last night, not so much. The food, all around, was less than average. The risotto was tasteless, the duck, which is their signature dish was very tender but also tasteless with soggy skin. Served with potatoes that were hard. The lamb chops were good but also not a great deal of flavor. The crudo appetizer had so much vinegar that I couldn’t eat it and was served so cold that it hurt my teeth to eat. Was there a different chef? Very disappointing as this was a celebration with our family which we had raved about. So the question is was this a one-time event because of the holidays or is this restaurant a hit or miss? For the price, hit or miss is unacceptable to us.
