   Food was amazing, the servers were really nice, and the ambiance was pretty good. Only problem I had was the small proportions, we got the Calamari, the Duck Breasts and the Lamb Bolognese (All superb, I’d definitely recommend), and I was still a bit hungry at the end. Otherwise, an amazing restaurant and I am going to go again.

   This is a super cute brunch spot. The food was very reasonably priced and good. I got the salmon burger, a friend got the chicken sandwich and another got the pancakes they were all very tasty. But I would not recommend the beignets. We were surprised when they came out and there were six for the price, but they were completely empty inside, no dough and very thin. I would not recommend. The place was very busy so it is loud and the service was slow but I would recommend.

   We both ordered burgers and they were not cooked to order nor were they seasoned at all. Very disappointed. The bread pudding was not very good either. It was gummy. This is our neighborhood restaurant. Most dishes are excellent. Not sure if I’d order a burger there again we ordered medium rare and they were both rare. The fries are ok. The waiter mumbled to bad I had a hard time hearing the specials.

   The crab beignets were a surprise in terms of flavor and quality while the soup of the day--apple and butternut squash with a little dribble of spicy oil was very pleasing. We had the salmon with roasted brussels sprouts/mushroom/onions and the lamb bolognese--both were excellent. Service was great with good explanations of menu items, answers to our questions, and timeliness of attending to our table. It's a very casual place and the noise level was moderate though we were early diners though the place filled at dinner as we were leaving. Have already recommended to others and look forward to a return visit especially to try the chicken and waffles or the shrimp and grits.

   First time and very good. Wouldn’t get the ravioli again because the pasta wasn’t cooked all the way. However the appetizers and rest of the meal was great (lamb shank and smoked duck breast). Would definitely go back. Service was very good and they were on top of everything.

   Barrel and Crow was great. I had dinner with a friend there last night, which was the first Monday nights they were open. When we first arrived at 5:45, the restaurant was quiet, but eventually became quite loud with a full house of large groups of boisterous eaters. The service was excellent - very attentive without being annoying, and it was nice that the person who actually served the meals from the kitchen knew exactly which one of us had ordered what. The mussels appetizer was outstanding. All in all, a great choice.

   Gumbo was mediocre and steak was over cooked. It was remedied quickly by mgmt.

   Was the perfect meal to celebrate our son’s birthday! The calamari, salmon, burger and sliders were amazing!!! The cocktail and wine was also really good. Pork chop was a little dry but still great time!

    Great service and food options. Creative menu for brunch with diverse choices. Great service also! We had some questions and the staff was amazing. It is a TAD expensive, and having some more gluten free options are my only negatives. Definitely a great choice!
