Penn Mill is our new ‘go to’ venue. They have a great range of drinks, the regular menu is fantastic value for money and they keep it fresh with a good selection of specials. Their Carvery on Wednesday and Sunday is also outstanding value for money and is proper home cooked grub!! We eat and drink here regularly as the atmosphere is lovely, all are welcome and the staff are super attentive and always smiling and willing to help. We have recommended Penn Mill to friends and if we have visitors we will always visit Penn Mill for a drink and eats!!

We had Sunday dinner it was amazing , all the food was tasty and and hot the best we've had. The staff were so friendly and working really hard. Thankyou very much

The only thing that let the whole evening down was the service, very poor had to constantly ask for items for table simple things like cutlery, napkins and dseret menu etc..... Apart from that the food ambients decor, very warm and cosy feel...

Excellent, friendly restaurant. Food and wine delicious. Modern take on traditional staples. Particular favourite the Montgomety Cheddar fries!

After seeing this wonderful hideaway we decided to book up and try it out. We were very excited about the evening and food! The main course had been cooked to perfection for both of us… however both my portion of beef and my partners 8oz Steak had been served cold. We never mentioned this at the time as the taste simply made the meal perfect! Deserts however I had ordered a Brownie and Ice cream which again had been served looking spectacular but the brownie itself was again completely cold and tasted of nothing but powder and dry. My partners sticky toffee pudding had also been served stone cold and dry. The hosts / waiters came across as lovely however upon mentioning the issues regarding the food the manager / owner confronted myself and almost questioned in disbelief what we were saying regarding the food to be true. We had also seen the waiting staff and manager chat to themselves about our complaint and it was clear as day they thought we were just “trying to pull a fast one” In summary the food when served warm tasted divine the venue was wonderful the pricing was fair however all let down by being served cold deserts and mains.
