   This place is legitimately amazing. From Lobster Bisque to Parpadelle to short ribs to lamb, this was one those rare (very rare) times that a restaurant gets everything right. Make no mistake about it - food here is better than 99.9% of finest restaurants in the country including NYC (from where we hail). Great place for a date or night out. Place is class with a down to earth Americana upscale vibe. Dress classy and enjoy this Lancaster county gem. Highest possible rating.

   The food, service, and ambiance were perfect. The salmon was excellent. My wife had the tenderloin and didn’t need a knife. Our friends had the chicken piccata and short rib, and the raved about them.

   My wife and I were celebrating our 51st anniversary. We selected Belvedere because it had been several years since we were there and looked forward to returning. Our table was lovely including a placard wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waiter who didn’t identify himself took our drink orders and after being served took our meal orders. Due to oral surgery my wife is not allowed to chew food, so she chose the lobster bisque and a side dish of grits. The waiter tried to talk her into scallops and seemed disappointed when she said she could not chew scallops. I chose the swordfish special. We both enjoyed the food very much. But the waiter never returned to see how we liked the food or if we needed our drinks refreshed which we both wanted. We felt neglected on our special occasion. We will return for the food and hopefully a different server!
