    Good morning and thank you so very much everything at Farmington Hills. Benihana‘s is always exciting. I met a new manager I believe Brad was his name. Don is the 1I met a few weeks ago ☺️ they both had a smile on their faces the entire night even after being that chaotic and busy the last three weeks I have been in your establishment for birthdays !!! Every time I seen them they are busy attending to us customers loud ready to be seated and hungry even though Benihana‘s is always super crowded because of the birthday coupons. The food is excellent. I enjoy the atmosphere and everything was great thank you so very much once again for welcoming me to a warm establishment.  for the last two weeks Jose was my chef Bree if I’m not mistaken was MY server and last night it was Christina. She is amazing. She knew exactly what I was feeling and how I was feeling and made everything 100% for me shout out to Christina thank you baby.

   Our dining experience was excellent. From our knowledgeable and personable server, Gianna to our funny and skilled chef, Andar, my friend and I had an awesome time. The food was superb and fresh and our Mango Clara's were great. This was one of my favorite visits to Benihanas in years.

   I normally don’t write reviews like this. I’ve been a customer of Benihana for a very long time wouldn’t allow me to redeem my birthday coupon that they sent me with all these stipulations. My server would not honor my coupon  even though I have a December Christmas birthday

   Today was probably the worst birthday I’ve ever had. The cook (Jose) tried to pick chicken out of my rice after I told him my rice was supposed to be veggie. He then proceeded to touch the grilled vegetables with the utensils that he touched the meat with after I told him I do not eat meat. I came home and threw that food away.

   The food was mostly great as always. I am super disappointed about the filet mignon though. It was chewy and didn’t have good flavor!!! The shrimp and scallops were great and the veggies and rice too. To pay over $200 for 3 people and have the steak almost not edible was crazy. My husbands steak was overcooked too. (But he ate his) When you see most of the steak left on the plate that says something. The chef and staff were very nice.

   We go to Benihana a few times a year and this was the worst visit ever! We had a 7:15pm reservation and was told that they were about 20-30 minutes behind. Well we did not get seated until 8:05. Our server was terrible. He took for ever to get our drink orders, refills and to remove the dirty dishes from in front of us. At the end he disappeared all together and someone else came to cash us out. This was not a good night at all. And they looked understaffed. Our chef and good was the only thing good about this visit. I'm very disappointed.

   Pros - server was great and attentive. Chef Jose was good. Food portions were plentiful. Cons: inspite of making reservation, we waited an hour to sit down. There were no benches inside to sit on while waiting. I would go more often but the entire seating, wait time, lack of planning is rather off putting.

    Good morning my services for the last week at Benihana‘s Farmington Hills has been over the top. The manager Dan was excellent. I had a concern and he fixed it right away. There was a nice young man named Joseph at the bar. He was a pleasure answer a lot of my questions by just being nosy lol hey buddy Kayla was my server. Jose was my chef for that night but Andrew was excellent. I love him to pieces he’s funny. He’s very friendly. He goes over and beyond and all his tricks and training love Benihana’s Farmington Hills. Thank you guys forever customer
