   Victor, our Chef, provided my party the best experience ever! Solomon our host & server, was very pleasant, engaging, and assisted with my $30 Birthday Certificate issue.

   This location has been on decline for some time now. Whether you go during busy or non busy times the service is slow. The host in front of at checkin are always rude , and make you wait for some time past your reservation even though you get messages that table is ready. We get seated out party of 4 in a table with 4 other guests. We were extremely crammed into table very uncomfortably. I asked host if they could accommodate us and very rudely was told that’s all we have you can wait after the rest of reservations were seated. I explained we had reservation why should I wait hrs for a space where we would fit and was told this what it is. The meal was good but felt rushed because chef was in a hurry to holder off work as we were his last table. The interaction with chef seemed a bit rude as he seemed frustrated and when asking him for condiments he rudely told me to ask waitress. The rice portions were also very under served compared to the several past visits here. In all very disappointed in the Benihana experience on 12/8 here at puente hills location , especially when you are spending nearly 300 dollars on hibachi

   Restaurant flooring carpet smelled really bad and is really dirty, made me lose my appetite, and the wood edges around the table grill is filthy. AND, my plates and the other plates at my table were dirty

   I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I was very disappointed in this service. I don't get to come to Benihana's a lot I can count a total of 3x this last experience I was excited to take my two youngest kids to experience this Awesome good show. But idk if it was the chefs first time but it was sadly disappointing. They were so excited looking at the other tables waiting patiently for our turn and we didn't not receive the famous onion volcano or the big fire or little tricks they normally do. At the end I think the chef felt bad she tried to do an onion volcano so I was happy for that. But overall for what we paid for not up to how it usually is.

   The experience was great…. Much improvement from last experience 2 mos ago. The chef was very engaging and. Entertaining. Be didn’t appear to be in a rush. Food was prepared nicely and delicious. Server was very friendly and attentive. Overall good experience.

   We went to celebrated birthday on 11/29, the day after thanksgiving. We had reservations at 5:30pm, and arrived on time, it’s not clawed, but we waited for about 20mins+ to be seated. The filet Mignon(I ate one piece, then gave the rest to my hobby) didn’t taste fresh, so as the colossal shrimp. I’d tried very hard to keep my eyes away from the dirty towel. The Chef used it wrapped his cooking tools, and also cleaned the Teppan by the same towel! (We went other Teppan places, their towel always keep clean and white, and has 2 separated towels: one for knife/cooking tools, one for clean up Teppan). Our Chef ‘s cooking skills’ good, but he may be tried, no smile at all. The waitress was nice.

    We ordered the Land & Sea. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were superb and the timing perfect. Jacob our chef made our dining experience great… he was charming, professional and overall entertaining. He seasoned our meal just right. We visit the restaurant often but never has the food tasted as good as it did yesterday.
