   Great service and atmosphere, by far the best Benihanas location I have been to in south Florida. Me and the family love this location.

   Service was great, loved our waiter Sebastian, probably one of the best we’ve had at that location. The food is always good and I love their specialty cocktails, but I do wish the restaurant was cleaner. There was some food on the chairs and we were the first people in the restaurant today, (went for an early lunch). The floors look dirty, the carpet needs to be replaced, just overall I think it could be cleaner especially for the price point. I know it’s a hard restaurant to try to keep spotless but I think they can take care of that. Also, looks like it could be using a remodel soon, the chairs are starting to peel, stairs inside and out look extremely rough! Gum and garbage outside, stuff like that.

   We go to Benihana every year to celebrate all our family birthdays. We enjoy both the food and the chef’s presentation. My wife has some mobility issues and the staff is always very accommodating.

   It was our 35th wedding anniversary! We have been going there for family celebrations since I was a child. As always, it has been amazing.

   I was so excited to try this place. I thought the original teppanyaki would be an amazing show and food. I paid $300 to watch a lady with resting b*tch face angrily make my food. I ordered the ocean treasure. Everything tasted the same. Shrimp, lobster and scallops were all bland. Everything was soaked in oil. The soup was so salty it was unpalatable. The waiters never checked on us and when they did it was like we were an inconvenience. No one seemed happy to be there. It was the most depressing dinner I’ve ever sat though. There was no cohesive design to the presentation. The other patrons at my table seemed very dissatisfied as well. The chicken tasted like something from a microwave hungry man meal. (Comment from a friend that was there as I’ve never eaten one) When we arrived at 6p the view of the river was great. That was the best part of the night. By 7:30p the whole place was dark and the restaurant was clouded by a thick smoke. So thick you couldn’t breathe and I began to get sick. Another friend that was there had to leave while I paid the check because she was sick from the rice and the smoke. I have been to a lot of hibachi restaurants around the country and this was the absolute worst I’ve ever been to. I was so disappointed. My hotel manager recommended that I try Fujiyama when I told him that I’d made reservations for Benihana. I said well I want to try the original. I’ve always wanted to. I can’t express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my meal and experience.

   I had a birthday certificate sent to me from benihana for $30 made a special trip to Stuart Florida from Sebastian Florida where I currently live and made a whole weekend out of it to experience the restaurant when I arrived it was on a Saturday after arriving they told me I could not use my $30 gift certificate because it's only good Monday through Thursday which it does not state that anywhere in the email but I went ahead and had lunch for two The food was okay the price was outrageous $140 that would was with a $20 tip because it's not the employee's fault that you guys take advantage of your customers they need to make money either way and I understand that but $120 for the food that we received is outrageous there is another hibachi restaurant in Vero Beach which is only about 20 minutes away from where we live in Sebastian and we've been there once or twice and the food is 100% better The service is 100% better and the atmosphere is 100% better and not to mention we went there for dinner not lunch on a Friday or a Saturday night if I believe and we had two alcoholic drinks and the bill was only $80 and that is with the tip so that is what I'm talking about your company takes advantage of people and I will tell everyone I know the experience that I've had with your restaurant and I hope and I honestly pray that your business goes under because it's wrong what you charge people for what you give them in return and if you send out a gift certificate for somebody's birthday to try to get them as a returning customer My advice is let them use the coupon whenever the hell they show up because most of the time they're traveling a long distance to get to your damn restaurant

   This restaurant smelled really bad when we walked in and also looked dirty. We sat and waited to be called to our table with the foul smell and dirty looking floors in the lobby. Then we found out we waited for nothing because we had reserved a seat in the bar lounge which was empty. But all of the tables were dirty. We did not stay to eat. We left! Very disappointed with Benihana in Stuart.

    Our server was exceptional, and chef Beatriz was excellent. We were there with friends during the slow time, and they were respectful that we didn't need to be entertained, but they did their jobs. The food and atmosphere were great, as always.
