    Xmas season: places packed. This was not different. Unlike some guy who almost screamed to one of the managers ( he had a 7 res and it was 7:45 ish) and was seated in order to avoid the face down, our party oh 3 7:30 res were led to our table at 7:50. As usual , reason we go is the quality of the steak. And our porterhouse was excellent(an Argentinian gourmand concurred) .. the wine list, appetizers, mediocre dessert, gooey cesar as everywhere overpriced, the steak made the day. And the only reason to go to Benjamin’s. IMHO better than Wolfang’s, etc etc…server -as usual- trying to rush the wine pour, the mineral water. Too intrusive. Other than that , it’s the steak, .

    Celebrating anniversary in NYC and was recommended by a native New Yorker. The service was beyond incredible and attentive. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Filet for me and salmon for my wife. Complimentary cheesecake and drinks for our anniversary as well as a complementary cocktail emailed in advance for reserving on Open Table. Will definitely frequent again on next trip to DC. Can't say enough about the attentiveness and friendliness of the servers and manager on an extremely busy line out the door Saturday evening. Which, of course, reservations are highly recommended.

    This was a great experience. John our waiter and the entire wait staff was excellent. The food was out of this world. Great wine list! We will definitely go again.

    Our favorite steak! Eaten here over 30 times. The food is always consistent and the service is outstanding. Thank you to Johnny and team for always making our night special!
