Bistro Don Giovanni offers a warm and inviting experience with all the personality of a Mediterranean hideaway. Chef Scott Warner's rustic fare incorporates local fruits, vegetables, meat and fowl into traditional, fresh Italian dishes with her signature, creative flair. Freshly baked breads, local olive oil, beautiful salads, tasty appetizers and homemade pastas are inspired by the bounty of Napa Valley. Main courses offer an array of regionally sourced and highest quality creations of chicken, steaks and seafood. The bar features hundreds of Napa Valley and Italian wines as well as a host of signature cocktails.

    Amazing experience last night for my birthday. Food was absolutely delicious, of course, but it was Monty (our server) that made the experience exceptional. Highly recommend the branzino but ask for mashed potatoes instead. Can’t wait to go back!

    Great food and service. The place is loud, so prepare yourself. Glassware could be better for wine. Even so, we love Bistro Don and have gone back many times.

    As a Napa Valley local I have been dining here for over 20 years. This time went there for my grandsons 14th birthday (his choice) and had a wonderful time. We were seated right away. Our server was fantastic, very attentive ~ please let them know what a great job they are doing. And of course the food was delicious (as usual). We enjoyed the following starting out with the delicious fresh baked bread with spicy oil (you have to ask for that special and the server who made it this time made it so good as I always like a generous amount of the balsamic), Frito Misto with calamari and shrimp (I eat all the shrimp lol) fresh veggies, Pizza Bambini (pepperoni pizza with french fries on top ~ sprinkled with parmesan ~ yum!), Veal Parmigiana with fettucine alfredo ~ what?!!!, and the Rigatoni Bolognese. They grate more parmesan anytime we asked too. For dessert ~ they gifted my grandson vanilla gelato with a candle, he also had the creme brulee, we also had the super yummy Tiramusu and the incredible Bostini Trifle. For drinks, my grandson had a shirley temple with extra cherries lol, my daughter had a whiskey sour cocktail and I enjoyed a glass of the prosecco. All in all ~ an amazing meal. Always so consistent and so delicious. Thank you Gio, Chef Scott & Company!!!

    Food was the highlight… we had a fritto misto, grilled octopus and bruschetta to start. All were delicious, however, server was vague in describing them to us. We took a chance on these and our entrees. Just seemed that our server “had better things to be doing.” Our table was a bit cramped as we were a party of five in a booth. Several other much more comfortable tables could have been used to accommodate us that had not been seated during our entire experience. Used to LOVE this Valley institution… just not the same anymore.

    Always a treat. Due to inclement weather, everyone was inside, causing an energetic atmosphere. Staff was hopping, but very cordial. Despite the volume, the quality of food was excellent.

    Lovely setting for New Years. Our waiter was very good: personable, attentive and very helpful. Food was good but kitchen seemed overwhelmed. We had to send 3 entrees back because they came out lukewarm and one had to be sent back a 2nd time.

    I really enjoy linguine with pesto. No linguine so I had spaghetti with pesto. Big mistake, just didn’t taste the same. Overall the evening was enjoyable.
