I like this restaurant a lot. Food, service, ambiance always good. On this occasion, as my companion and I were being seated, the hostess unfortunately knocked over a full glass of wine that soaked my outfit. Thankfully it was white wine. The hostess and staff were kind in getting me as comfortable as possible, and the glass of wine was replaced as expected. What surprised me was at no other time during our dinner did anyone check in on us. By the time we left my clothes were still very damp as we headed outside to a very cold NYC. Did it ruin the night? Yes. Did we try and make the most of it? Yes. Did anyone try and make it a better night for us? No. Not even a free coffee.

The staff is sooo very lovely and accommodating. Always a nice experience to eat here. I want to go back some time to try the prix fixe

Bistro Les Ami provided us with a delicious lunch of beautifully prepared French food. My steaks frites and my husband's chicken paillard both were wonderful.

An extremely charming restautrant in the heart of Soho with an aura from the past in the best possible way. The food was excellent and the service personal and attentive. I will come back for sure.

We had not been here since our last visit NYC a couple of years ago. Very happy to have made it back. Quaint small bistro in SoHo. Appetizer we had the Pear Salad and the Mussels with Garlic and White Wine broth. Both were superb. The entrees we both had the same. Cod served over lentils and a saffron sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky and moist. Dessert we shared the Apple Tartine. The flavor was excellent, but I think it was warmed on a microwave so the texture was too mushy. Drank a very nice bc Pouilly-Fuisse,
