Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Bistro Maison offers a delightful French dining experience in a charming setting. Guests rave about the "excellent food," "attentive service," and "extensive wine list." Standout dishes include coq au vin, duck confit, and seasonal specials. Despite a few mixed reviews on service consistency, it remains a "highly recommended" gem in Oregon's wine country.

The food was impeccable. Oysters, charcuterie etc-all prepared in classic French style. Service was on point.

This was an intimate wedding reception dinner truly hosted by Debra! From beginning to end the Bistro’s staff ensured each diner - ranging from 4 to 72 in age - was always satisfied with food and drink. Debra orchestrated everything from arrival charcuterie followed by simple salad then individual entrees. Needing extraordinary compliments was having pomme frites in front of the 4 year old seemingly within minutes of seating. Each course was delicious with special ‘shout out’ to the roasted dates, gravlax salmon and strawberry pavlova at dessert. A very memorable evening of good food, great hospitality and special family memories.

It was our second time here. The butter lettuce and beet salad was delicious. The escargot was good, we are used to a little more flavor, but good. Entree’s were pretty good-salmon and double thick pork chop. We didn’t care for the pecan pie, not traditional and two pieces for one order is a bit much. Overall, we will go back. The service is wonderful and it’s a quaint place.

Here is a charming and intimate bistro with authentic French cuisine expertly prepared and served up with efficiency. Waitstaff was attentive yet not intrusive. Families, couples, and small groups chatted and laughed together. A perfect evening with a home-away-from-home ambience.

We absolutely love everything about Bistro Maison. I am plant based and my husband isn't - the quality of food is exquisite for us both with our dietary preferences. The ambiance is charming and so is the service.

On chilly, fall night, we enjoyed a warm, inviting dinner with superb service and delightful appetizers and entrees matched with a nice Oregon Chenin Blanc wine. Perfect.

Everything about Bistro Maison was great - with on exception. My wife ordered their burger, which states on the menu that it is 1.5” thick. “Medium Rare” was suggested, and my wife said it sounded good. When it arrived, it was seared on the outside and almost raw inside. The buns were soaked with juice. We asked for it to be cooked more, and to their credit, they gladly took the plate back to the kitchen. When it arrived again, it was pink in the middle and on a new bun. They cheerfully resolved the issue. And they had a cool way to celebrate her birthday! Nice work.
