We came here for our anniversary lunch and it was outstanding like always. The wait staff is so nice and accommodating and remembered us from our wedding. It made it extra special. The view in the main dining room can’t be beat it’s breathtaking. The food comes nice and hot and fresh. We could not ask for more.

Nice location. Very pleasant setting with views of Delaware river pretty much from all tables (except parties). Lunch food was good. We had two main crab dishes. Vegetables were bland, crab was OK. Nothing off-putting but no character flavor-wise. We took a special they had for dessert - chocolate cake with raspberry mousse - big mistake. The mousse was generic with no raspberry flavor. Almost like a Cool Whip with red food coloring. Is it really a big deal to use fresh raspberries and heavy cream instead? By NYC standards 4.0 place.

Our meals were very disappointing, nothing we had was worth the cost and nothing to write home about. The ambiance was nice and the staff and service were excellent.

Such a lovely lunch by the windows on a rainy afternoon. Never rushed. So relaxing and everything was so delicious. Can’t wait to return to this great find.

A rainy Fall evening at the Bass with just about smallish crowd of mostly locals was the delightful balm that I needed. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar and chat with the lovely folks enjoying the s ambiance and atmosphere. Service was perfection and the food and company delightful. Still a classic to look forward to visiting over and over again and always coming away excited to return.

We had another wonderful experience at Black Bass Hotel! It’s one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we come to New Hope! Our server, Karen was awesome! It’s obvious that she loves her job! She gave us some great recommendations and all were delicious! We had the scallops appetizer. The scallops were large and fresh! My husband had the salmon and I had the cod. Both very tasty and cooked to perfection! Karen asked me if I had any allergy to cheese since it was in the sauce. They made my cod to order with just a little butter and it was perfect! We ended our meal with the incredibly flavorful French pressed coffee and the s’mores dessert. Karen went above and beyond to make our experience special. We will be back, and we hope to get Karen as our server again!

For me, these are extraordinarily low ratings for a restraurant that’s always been perfect, I think it was because they were overwhelmed with too many people.
