   The atmosphere and service in this restaurant is inviting and relaxing. The music was energizing and sophisticated, not distracting from the experience, it amplified it. The food was absolutely delicious. It has been such a long time since I have tasted such delicious food. The server explained everything from where the food was cultivated and how, to how the winery experience was for the wine we chose (thank you, Michelle!) - the steak cut like butter and just melted in your mouth, the flavor was out of this world. a house made rye and sunflower bread with whipped butter was brought to the table with water of choice to start. I ordered the 6oz tenderloin with peppercorn jus, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veg., my appetizer was garlic shrimp and creaser salad. and my dessert was vanilla bean creme brulee. I could write a few paragraphs on why they were so delicious, but I will summarize with they were all spectacular! It is a little pricey, but I am starting to surmise that you get what you pay for!

   Katie the waitress was fantastic and was always thinking two steps ahead. The dj was also great. Outstanding food for the price on endless brunch

   A lovely table for two in front of the fireplace, very attentive service, wonderful food from the bread to the final coffee and digestif. My first time in and it will definitely become a favourite!

   We tried the Blackshop for my sons birthday and it did not disappoint! The salmon was delicious and the desserts were amazing (especially the tres leche!).

   I enjoyed the grilled chicken Cobb salad. My friend enjoyed the Niçoise salad . Her only complaint was too much dressing on the Niçoise. Mine was perfect .

   We had a fantastic brunch experience here! The menu offered a great variety of options, and the dishes (a few favourites, Chorizo Croquettes, Ahi Tuna Toast, Breakfast Tostada) were both flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

   The ambiance is really nice and the restaurant adds special effects to some of its drinks and meals with aromatic smoke. The wait staff is knowledgeable and confidently speak about the dishes. The menu is simplistic but the food is really delicious. Recommend for an anniversary or special occasion or just because.

   Optimal service and dining experience. Music matched noise level, although some guests were noticeably loud. Nevertheless, thank you for the nice experience.

    Was here for my mom’s Birthday she loves the Blackshop and so do we book every year group of 5 the service is outstanding (Thank you so much for making a very memorable evening Kenzie really appreciate your 5 star professional service amazing!!!)Never rushed was given one of the best tables. The food is always without question is delicious, the drinks and wine ! Thank you again Blackshop!
