National Restaurant Awards winners announced tonight!

This evening, Restaurant Magazine will recognise the top 100 restaurants in the UK at their prestigious annual awards ceremony. The restaurants are voted for by an expert panel of chefs, restaurateurs, food writers and critics. Around 90 of the top 100 restaurants will be attending the ceremony and el Bulli chef Ferran Adria is flying in from Spain as a special guest.

In addition to the top 100, there are a number of speciality awards including Chef’s Chef of the Year and awards highlighting outstanding wine lists, service, and sustainability. New for 2014 is the OpenTable Diners’ Choice ‘Fit for Foodies’ Award which represents the opinions of more than 325,000 reviews written by OpenTable diners in the past year.

The winner will be announced this evening (follow it on twitter!) but we can reveal the shortlisted restaurants in the OpenTable ‘Fit For Foodies’ category:
