New Street Grill – Enjoy roast chicken, rib of beef and excellent desserts at this slick City restaurant. (2 courses only £35!)

Treats for Mum

Brasserie Joel – After a stroll on the Southbank or a spin on the London Eye, head to this French brasserie for fresh fish, steak tartare and more. Mums will receive a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a goody bag.
Iberica – Treat Mum to lunch and a complimentary glass of cava at this buzzy Farringdon tapas bar.
Gillray’s – Enjoy traditional afternoon tea with free flowing bubbles and views of the Thames and Big Ben.
The Jugged Hare – This City gastropub serves wild game, rotisserie meats and delicious fish dishes. They have tables available for dinner and all Mums will receive homemade chocolates to take home.

Something a little different

TOZI – Swap your Sunday roast for antipasti, Italian-inspired cocktails and perfect pasta at TOZI.
Cocochan – Why not hit the shops on Oxford Street and then refuel with a pan-Asian feast at Cocochan?
Kurobuta – Mums will love this rock ‘n’ roll izakaya near Marble Arch. Everything on the menu is delicious but don’t leave without trying the BBQ pork belly buns and crispy squid kara-age with jalapeño dipping sauce.
Orange Elephant – At this Fulham newcomer, a 12oz sirloin with salad and hand-cut chips will set you back just £20 a head – perfect if your Mum loves nothing more than a good steak. (p.s. There’s truffle mac ‘n’ cheese for vegetarians).

Wow factor restaurants

Yauatcha Soho – For a special supper in Soho, book a table at Yauatcha and enjoy some of the best dim sum in London. If you’re not into dumplings, you’ll love their crispy duck and jasmine tea smoked ribs.
Quaglino’s – Wonderful food, killer cocktails and a glamorous dining room – what’s not to love about this Mayfair stunner?
Maze Grill Park Walk – Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea restaurant is perfect for special occasions and the Mother’s Day menu sounds fantastic. Choose from dishes like roast rib of beef and baked whole plaice with crab, shrimp and garlic butter.
