Drink and dine in style this summer at Terrazza on the Thames – Bolla Wines pop-up riverside terrace at Columbia Restaurant in Docklands. It’s open daily from 4pm serving wine, Prosecco and Italian-inspired cocktails like ‘One Night in Venice’ – a refreshing mix of gin, Prosecco, lemon, mint and elderflower. If you get peckish, there are pizzette and antipasti, or you can take the RB4 river bus across to Canary Wharf and dine at Roka, Big Easy and Chai Ki.
Ahead of the Olympics, award-winning gastropub The Gun has transformed its riverside marquee into a Brazilian beach bar pop-up, Rio De Gun-Eiro. From now until the end of September, The Gun and beer brand Sol invites guests to relax in the sun-soaked oasis kitted out with colourful deckchairs and tropical plants. Grab some snacks from the BBQ and enjoy cocktails like the Grapefruit Caipirinha, Watermelon Martini, or the Tiki Tai made with Kraken spice rum, Koko Kanu, lemon, pineapple and orange juice.
