Tequila Time! 5 ways to celebrate National Margarita Day

Tequila on a Wednesday? Why not! Get into the Margarita Day spirit(s) with these killer drinks deals.

Corazon, Soho – Corazon’s bar team have created a special Margarita menu that’s available all week long. Choose from Brandon’s ‘Antique Rose’, spiked with raspberry syrup, lime and mint, or spice things up with Terri’s ‘Journey’ – pineapple-infused tequila with coriander syrup and chili liqueur. This Soho taqueria received a great review from TimeOut this week so be sure to book ahead or risk missing out on those famous fish tacos.

Benito’s Hat – Get some mates together for after-work burritos and £5 cocktails (after 5pm) at Benito’s Hat. Try a frozen Margarita, fruity flavours like pomegranate and watermelon, or just stick to the original – they’re all good.

London Grind, London Bridge – The Grind team are celebrating with £5 Margaritas on offer every day until Sunday. As an added bonus, if you bring your own shot glass they’ll treat you to a free shot of tequila. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s a tempting all-day menu of small plates, fresh salads, and dishes like aged beef tagliata and spatchcock chicken.

Mole Taco Bar, Marylebone – This West End restaurant serves Mexican and South American dishes, from tacos and ceviche to Peruvian anticuchos. Today they’re serving £4 Margaritas all day long – just mention the deal when you book a table.

Cantina Laredo, Covent Garden – Can’t face tequila on a school night? Book a table for Free-Flowing Friday at Cantina Laredo – 3 courses and free-flowing Margaritas, Prosecco or virgin apple Mojitos for £50 from noon until 6pm. An excellent excuse to take Friday afternoon off and get stuck into some tacos, fajitas, and guacamole made fresh at your table.
