This year saw the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards return to its standard format after a reduced capacity in 2021. The event took place at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in Fulham and was attended by some of the UK’s most celebrated chefs and restaurants.

The UK’s top 100 restaurants were announced, along with a host of special awards, including the OpenTable-sponsored Best New Opening. Awards are voted for by an elite judging academy of more than 200 experts from across the industry. These include chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.
Academy members vote for the top seven restaurants they dined at during the past 12 months, with the UK split into 11 regions. Results are then analysed, and the top 100 list is created.
