London dominates the top 50 list with 31 entries, followed by Edinburgh and Kent. Romantic dining options in the capital included the multi-award-winning CORE by Clare Smyth, afternoon tea at The Savoy, and dinner with a view at Galvin at Windows. Diners in Edinburgh tagged Angels with Bagpipes and Forage & Chatter as ideal date spots, while couples in Kent voted for Chapter One and The Poet at Matfield.

When it comes to the perfect cuisine choice for date night, British, French and Italian prove to be popular choices for a romantic meal as they all appear prominently on the Top 50 list.

Adrian Valeriano, Vice President, EMEA, OpenTable, comments “Here at OpenTable, we consider diner reviews as a fundamental element of the service we offer to UK diners, ensuring customers can discover the right dining experience wherever they are in the UK.  As London continues to cement itself as the UK’s culinary capital, it’s also great to see outstanding restaurants from across the country including Edinburgh, Birmingham and Kent all appearing on the list as some of the most romantic places to dine this Valentine’s Day.”
