Looking for somewhere new to eat this month? Check out some of the great new restaurants that have recently joined OpenTable, including some of London’s hottest newcomers.
Hotel Chantelle – This New York import isn’t a hotel, it’s a seriously stylish bar and restaurant tucked away behind Selfridges. Round up your most glamorous friends for brunch or visit for dinner and try the Mad Lobster – a deconstructed whole lobster sautéed in miso butter and finished with a chilli-ginger glaze.
The Modern Pantry (Finsbury Square) – After the success of the Clerkenwell original, Anna Hansen has opened a second Modern Pantry close to Moorgate Station. City slickers can perch at the all-day tapas bar, linger over lunch or dinner in the light-filled dining room, or try the delicious weekend brunch options.
Wright Brothers South Kensington – Bringing superb seafood to SW7, Wright Brothers’ fourth restaurant serves decadent fruits de mer platters, Cornish day-boat fish, and oysters and cocktails in the basement bar.
Wahleeah – At this new all-day restaurant in Fulham, chef Dave Ahern is serving beer-infused dishes like rib eye steak with beer fondant potatoes, beer cured salmon, and a signature burger with horseradish ketchup and beer ketchup. There are 40 beers to choose from and the restaurant serves brunch all week long.
Les Deux Salons Restaurant and Bistro – We’re thrilled to welcome this recently revamped Covent Garden restaurant to the OpenTable family. Just a stones throw from some of London’s famous theatres, diners can enjoy fabulous French food and wine in the ground floor café-bistro or elegant first floor restaurant.
Also new in London: 8 Mount Street; Iberica Victoria; Soho noodle bar, Cha Cha Moon; Meat and Shake (Ealing); and TOZI, an Italian restaurant specialising in Venetian cicchetti.
Turnip & Enjoy – This family-run restaurant in Glasgow’s West End is popular with foodies who want to enjoy exciting contemporary cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. The market lunch menu is a bargain!
Spoke & Stringer – This harbourside café-bar in Bristol is run by the team from the bike and surfboard shop next door, so expect cold pressed juices and lots of healthy (and delicious) lunch options. In the evenings, they serve Basque-inspired tapas dishes and the weekend brunch options are some of the best in town.
Old Downton Lodge – For an unforgettable dining experience, head to Ludlow’s Old Downton Lodge where Karl Martin creates a tasting menu inspired by what he finds in the market and on his foraging expeditions.
Honey at Hotel Gotham – At the heart of Manchester’s glitzy Hotel Gotham, Honey is open from breakfast through to dinner, serving dishes like coq au vin, curried monkfish, and warm lobster salad. They also serve an excellent afternoon tea which includes local favourites like Eccles cake and Manchester tart.
Pig’Halle – Inspired by the owners love of Paris, Pig’Halle offers an authentic French brasserie experience in Perth. Start with a Kir Royale and then feast on moules Marinières or a Chateaubriand for two to share.
