Brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg, creators of Blue Ribbon Restaurants in New York, Las Vegas and London, have arrived on the West Coast with the opening of Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill at The Grove in Los Angeles. The restaurant offers diners award-winning sushi offerings by Master Sushi Chef Toshi Ueki, Japanese steakhouse fare and Blue Ribbon classics in a warm, yet vibrant setting. Available for dinner and late-night dining, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill’s expansive menu presents quality sushi and sashimi selections, including Toshi’s Choice Omakase and Blue Ribbon Maki with ½ lobster, shiso and black caviar. For options beyond the sea, Blue Ribbon’s signature dishes include Oxtail Fried Rice with daikon, shiitake and bone marrow; 30 oz. Most incredible fresh sushi in LA! So fun to sit at the sushi bar here - the tables are really nice but the design of the restaurant is so gorgeous and when you’re at the bar it’s quiet, the chefs are amazing to watch and you’re right in the middle of it all! We got the Salmon Box, Dragon Roll and Salmon, Yellowtail and Tuna Roll and they were the best rolls we’ve had in the city. 10/10 experience on a date!!

Chef Lee’s food is AMAZING. Top quality fish, fried rice and the beef was great as well. You should try the ginger bread dessert as well.

Extremely good service. Beautiful restaurant. Sushi was fresh and very tasty. Pricey but high quality. The sake portion is the size of a shot glass.

I’ve dined here many times for the past several years. This is my first review. Overall you can always count on the food being really good. Service is generally very good with one exception: the alcohol drinks always take a long time to get served. Frequently your food will arrive before your first drink and that’s just generally unacceptable and needs to be improved. I’ve watched the bar many times and there is just no sense of hurry back there to get the drinks out to the tables.
