The former ballroom of the RSAC, Blythswood Square has been modernised and seriously chiced up in keeping with the ever more sophisticated Glasgow. The grand high ceilings and huge windows of this epic building remain, however the furnishings now tip a cheeky wink to the boudoir with a black and red colourscheme, fringing and high backed booths. The atmosphere of Blythswood Square is equally fun, with a laid back feel rarely found in hotel restaurants, no doubt thanks in part to the inventive cocktail menu and relaxed, unpretentious but still sophisticated menu. The a la carte ranges from classic to contemporary with exciting ingredients standing alongside old favourites while the market menu is a must for the slow food crew, offering the best of Glasgow’s markets channeled in to inventive, clever dishes.

Booked my fav. Restaurant again for celebrating my hubby’s b-day The meals really delicious and the young lady who served our table is very nice , really helpful n always got smile on We really had a fantastic dinner thanks very much

Unfortunately our booking was not registered in the system at blythswood luckily there was enough room for us. Have to say the price is a bit much for portion size and not much variety although we did enjoy our meal.

Venue was great very Christmassy. Service was pretty poor and the food wasn't great. Filet steak was cold and very poor. Pork Sunday roast was good though. Very poor attention to detail from the waiting staff but the manager on duty was very good - carried the staff actually. Wouldn't rush back I'm afraid - Glasgow has a lot to offer.
