   Absolutely love coming here. The Shrimp and Grits got us last year, so we're back! So very good. Awesome waiter, too...Kevin

   Very slow service. Long wait for food. Of 5 meals ordered, all but 1 was shockingly bad - and that was a salad. Never again.

   Had an exceptional waitress who went out of her way to help accommodate a vegetarian guest. Food and service was tremendous.

   We were seated in a room that had a party of 40 men seated on three long table. We didn’t know they would be coming in but the management knew. There were three other romes we could have been seated. My wife and I couldn’t hear each other the noise was so high. The food was terrible. Caesar salad was dry and lettuce wilted. But worst of all was the filet. It was the but end of the cut and looked like you know what. It was fatty and it was served raw. At this point I only wanted to get out of there my head hurt so much. I left most of the steak. The woman waiting on us was good so no need to upset her. This wonderful experience cost $159 not counting the tip. The wine and beer was OK but Gin and tonic was very weak. I would not recommend this restaurant for anything but a burgers and beer. An embarrassment for Savannah. Our other restaurant experiences in Savannah were outstanding especially the Olde Pink House

   Tried the she crab soup and like other reviews tasted different but maybe that's the way it is supposed to, I've never had before. Hubby had the shrimp and grits and really enjoyed. I had the stuffed shrimp dish. Shrimp was delicious.. Pasta had a lemony sauce that was good but didn't quite fit the flavor of the fish. Everyone was very friendly.

   This was our first time in this restaurant but it will not be the last! The service was great. The food was excellent: we had the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, and the shrimp & grits and it was in my opinion one of the best grits ever.

   Really enjoyed this historic restaurant. Was concerned it might be a tourist trap but our experience was wonderful. Austin was a friendly and attentive server and the food was terrific, especially the Shrimp and Grits and the Bouillabaisse.
