   We had reservations for 6:45 and seated promptly our server brought Menus and asked if we would like water. The water arrived after approximately 5 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes later we were asked if we would like any other drinks. We order wine sodas and appetizers. This was a set menu for the night as it was Christmas Eve the drinks arrived 15-20 minutes later. Our server took our orders this was nearly 1 hour into being seated. Appetizers came out shortly after that meals arrived 45 minutes after that. The server returned at the end of our meal to ask how things were most were good one of the steaks arrived Blue and not medium rare and cool to the touch. We at that point asked for additional soda and water refills. 20 minutes later we had to find the server to ask for our included dessert to be served. The server did not return to ask we we wanted any other drinks As my 3 parking was about to expire. After the desert she asked if we would like coffee or tea by then I just said the bill please which was promptly delivered and waited for payment for $600 I expected better service

   Yikes. We waited nearly two hours before we placed our orders. We’re actually still stuck here after three hours.

   Service was absolutely terrible. Waitress forgot to take our full order, so had to wait forever for her to come by our table so we can tell her. Then she’s nowhere to be found again, and we needed a steak knife to eat the steak. She never came back once to check how we’re doing or ask how the food was. We had to call her ourselves to ask for our soup which didn’t come even after we finished our main dish. By then, we just didn’t want to wait any longer so we asked to get all the food that didn’t come packed up to go. Not once did she ask how our meal was or apologize for not checking in. She only said something after I complained about the service. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. We saw another table complaining too as they didn’t even get their water or orders taken after waiting for long. Spent $75 for a holiday meal and 1.5 hours just to eat a fairly ok main meal and had to get most of our other food in a small takeaway box to go.

   Went for lunch. Not busy but service was slow. No water. Had to wait until my meal was halfway done to get a coffee refill. Salmon sandwich was a bit dry and bland. Fries, ok. No one else complained about their meal. Two adult meals and two kids meals $100 plus tip. A bit much considering no appetizers or dessert. Pay parking to boot.

   It was a nice premium experience in an excellent location. I was happy with my experience for our seasonal celebration.

   If I could give zero stars, I would. Certainly last time we’ll be coming here. Service has been consistently poor over the last couple visits but today’s was just unspeakable. After 40 minutes of waiting at the table, still no coffee! Server nowhere to be found. Spoke with the manager who assured she’ll take care of us but 10 mins later, she was also nowhere to be seen. Definitely do not recommend for anyone.

   We go to the boathouse all the time. last night we were there with two other couples.This was the worst experience as of yet. The service was incredibly slow, and the food was mediocre at best. we sat at the table for quite some time before being acknowledged. we all ordered appetizers. Everyone else’s came but ours. We had to wait several minutes for hours to come. It was over an hour after that before we received our entrées. The steak was overcooked and the lobster was like rubber. We are very unsatisfied. Our waiter kept apologizing, but that didn’t help. We had to repeatedly ask for more water, etc.. The restaurant looks short staffed, but that is not our problem. We come and spend good money and expect to have good food and service.

    My family went for Santa brunch, it was awful. The website offered food that was not actually available, what was served was not made to order but previously batch made and cold (even the poached eggs for Benedict’s), Santa’s suit was falling apart and you could see the strings of the beard, and all at $42 a person. We love the Boathouse for their food and service regularly, we will not be participating in any special events again.
