   Food and service was great my only little detailed was the wait time we had to wait even with making reservations but it was New Years Eve night so I guess it’s understandable.

   We were a combined group of 9 and spent circa 2600 for F&B. It was NYE, the place had a great vibe, it had been decorated very well. The bar is as always great and we love the boatyard but it was not their finest night. However it’s NYE when is it ever going to be perfect? So our group were balanced in their feelings (albeit many were disappointed). The issues were mainly service related. Our appetizers, first and second courses came out either together (as in all at once) or not for a long time. So half the group ate whilst the other half watched (we had no option but to start). Equally some food was served cold (when meant to be hot) and had to be returned. So people ended up taking doggy bags home, as it was too late to eat their entrees. We don’t hold it against them and we will be back (it’s a great place). However I would look at the flow from the kitchen. It was obviously a long and very busy night.

   The boat yard it’s a great place to go eat and have a few drinks ..the food is always excellent and the service is great .we went there for New Year’s thinking that they was going to be more of a better ambience better music maybe a little dancing but it was a kind of disappointing .,but the overall experience with the food and the service was good like always

   This Price fixed meal for New Year’s Eve was a real disappointment.  For $150 a person Boatyard provided three courses and dessert. The first course included their Bimini bread. An extremely sweet bread which I’m sure many love. I did eat one small piece and it was tasty and very sweet. I believe this has been a staple of the restaurant for years. And I’m sure there’s a following for it.  The first course also included a small portion of their chopped salad. A tasty Mediterranean style salad with chickpeas in it, but far too many crispy potato sticks. Also a disappointment for a menu with $150 fix price. For the second course, we chose the snow crab claws, and the ceviche . The snow crab claws were almost in edible. They were extremely salty. My girlfriend loves salty food, and even she thought they were over salted. The ceviche was tasty with lots of pieces of fish in it. Unfortunately, it was served with very salty home made potato chips. When we complained to the server about the saltiness of the snow crab claws she acknowledged that she had heard this from a few other tables as well. She recommended instead that we replace that with the artichoke “chops”. The artichoke was very well prepared and it was a delicious dish. Kudos for that. For the main course, we ordered one halibut and one prime rib. Both were well prepared and very tasty. Lastly, the dessert looked to be a real disappointment when we glanced over at a table next to ours. It was chocolate cake, petit fours and gelato. I don’t know for certain that it tasted bad but for a restaurant that has such amazing desserts, It certainly did not look like a well-thought-out choice for the menu unless they were just trying to save money. Instead, we opted to order the crème brûlée, which was excellent. This was not included in the price fix menu.  The service was pretty slow, but our server was friendly and helpful. I believe she was probably just overwhelmed with too many tables.

   All servers were excellent! “Crispy” calamari was not crisp! Noise was very high. Beautifully appointed. Disappointed that we waited about 45 mins past our reservation time. Our head server, Tijana, was exceptional! Thank you!

   Sehr leckeres Essen und schöne Location direkt am Wasser! Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend! Wer es lieber ruhiger braucht sollte den Geräuschpegel im Hinterkopf haben, da es eher laut ist. Und hat es nicht gestört.

    Stephanie was wonderful. We loved our New Year's brunch at the Boatyard. Pit appetizers were perfect, and our main courses were delicious. As always, we had a great time.
