"Bobo's" is a stylish destination for the most exquisite steak and crab in the City. With antiqued red walls, colored glass light fixtures, and tablecloths, the restaurant is like a plush Venetian jewel box. Executive Chef-Owner Andrea Froncillo has created a delectable menu that showcases his signature steak and seafood creations. The steak is USDA-certified prime beef, dry-aged for four to six weeks - longer than anywhere else on the West Coast! Our award-winning bone-in filet was the 1st on the West Coast. The crab is Dungeness, harvested from the Pacific Ocean, and roasted in a savory garlic-butter sauce that is positively addicting.

    We loved sitting in the bar for dinner. Great date night. Our cocktails were classic and delicious, the crab & spinach appetizer yummy, the steak cooked perfect and wine all great. The Only request that was not met was a side of sour cream for the baked potato. I don’t do cheese or bacon. The hostess greeted us warmly and the service we received from the bartender, who also was our waitress was excellent! We will be back.

    I truly hate to say this, but the word that describes our dinner last night is disappointing. Bobo’s has always been my husband’s favorite restaurant, and we moved from the East Bay to Southern California. We went back last night to have some yummy garlic, sizzling crab. Well, let’s start with the sizzling, it barely sizzles, it came out on a plate and was just kind of there. Garlic? Not much taste of any And overall for $109. It was a waste of money. The bread is a charge of 3.50, but not tasty. In past visits, we usually slather the bread with what’s left of the crab on the skillet, but unfortunately, that was not able to be done either. The waiter was friendly, but actually said to us, we will do better next time. I think he said it because we had to ask for drawn butter, and some butter for our bread. We had a baked potato, which was fine, and a lava cake, which was good. The total bill was about $250 for two people. We shared the 3 pounds of crab, a baked potato, one sparkling wine, 1 club soda and a dessert. Wildly overpriced.  you would think they would’ve offered us a discount since they knew our experience was not great. Management, please take heed and we recommend you look at what is being served. I could do they’re out of wings

    I recently dined at Bobo’s for a special occasion, and while the steak and lobster were delicious — (not sure about the creamed spinach recipe) but the overall experience was unfortunately marred by the rushed service. Despite the high price tag, the waitstaff seemed intent on clearing our table and moving us out as quickly as possible. We didn't have the chance to order dessert because they came by multiple times to remove plates before we were ready. It's a shame, as the food was good, but we won't be returning due to the uncomfortable, hurried atmosphere. For an expensive, special-occasion meal, we expected more attention to the experience.

    Super fun and interesting decor and atmosphere. The food was good. The steak was excellent however, our server was overwhelmed with too many tables so it took a long time to get food drinks and surface. Also, the wine list wasn’t updated and they had newer wine when it said it was older wine so I would recommend them updating their wine list with the appropriate prices However, we would go back because it was good food and fun !
