   It was our first time going. We went to celebrate our anniversary but the atmosphere is not meant for special occasions. No tablecloths and most people wore way too casual clothes. Including men never taking baseball caps off. We both ordered different soups and they were absolutely amazing! Best French onion and lobster bisque we’ve ever had. Our server was awesome. Very professional. However they had already run out of prime rib and it was on their special menu for NYE. Instead I ordered the stroganoff and it was delicious! My husband had chicken Marsala which was tasty but his sides were bland and underwhelming. We will return but not to celebrate anything special. It’s far too casual with bright lighting.

   The food was good and good to my request and order. The noise level was low and allowing for easy conversation at my table. The pricing is fair to great value when compared to other similar local restaurants. I will definitely visit again.

   Wonderful food and great service. Their prime rib was delicious. We looked at the dessert menus and did not see anything that we wanted and mentioned it was too bad they did not have bread pudding. Our waiter said he’d check and returned with two. It is this touch of service that makes for a wonderful experience.

   There was a “special “ menu of which we were not apprised. Not much we could eat. We were seated in the bar area which was very crowded and noisy while half the remaining restaurant was 1/2 full. Service was slow and pretty minimal.

   A visit to the Braised Onion is now an official family holiday tradition! . Every single thing we had on the menu was delicious. Although the special mention goes to the liver and onions, the barbecue rib sandwich, and the desserts! Sherry, our waitress for the second year in a row, was absolutely superb. You could not ask for better service! Love this place!

   What we ordered was excellent ... hate to say it but cannot remember exactly what it was ... but it was all very very good ... cocktails are excellent ... dessert is excellent ... Espresso martini is a good choice ... I'd recommend this to anyone wanting a special meal ... it's not cheap but cheap food is not good so that saying goes

   We were here for Christmas Eve dinner and the staff went all out to take wonderful care of us. Really a terrific meal and for a group this size it could not have been better- multiple servers brought our food to the table so that everyone was served at one time; the staff made wonderful suggestions and knew everything about each dish, as well as being friendly and very welcoming. Everything we had was delicious, and several of our party agreed that the staff were the best they had ever encountered. Great job!!!

   Great service by Joanne. Appetizers: Fried green tomatoes- really good Onion fritters- really good with delicious dipping sauces Shrimp cocktail - really delicious shrimp but maybe undersized Coconut shrimp- - good Flatbread- not really flatbread and very soggy Soup and salad Onion soup was yummy but very salty Pear salad was amazing Meatloaf was just ok. Overcooked a bit. Drinks- lemon drop martini was just ok; pistachio martini was yummy. Wanted expresso martini but they don’t use real expresso so I passed. Overall, I would say it is a mid-class dinner with great service.

    This was our first visit to the Braized Onion. The experience was perfect! The service was friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and the value on point. I had the meatloaf, which was unique and delicious. A friend joining me had the fish and chips, which was also delicious. The coconut cream pie was unlike any I’ve ever tasted!
