Chef Lang and Chef Shaw's version of 'New Southern Cuisine' contains the past, present, and future all at once.     Our party of 4 had a great experience at Breakwater. Food, drink & service was wonderful & we look forward to going back. Jess was terrific in making our dinner a memorable time.

    We celebrated New Years Eve AND a birthday here last night and it was absolutely perfect! The food was spectacular, great cocktails, wine, ambience and especially our waiter, Lisa! We will be going back!

    The service and atmosphere was excellent. Very clean and quiet and intimate setting. The food was just average. But the prices were pretty good!

    We were seated in an area that was very cold, with cold air blowing over us. Although there was many other tables for 2 available elsewhere in the restaurant I had to ask the hostess 3 times to move us to a table in another location. The food was ok, nothing special. Our waitress Michelle was helpful and attentive. Overall a good experience but I would not return.

    Again, we were not disappointed. This is by far our favorite fine dining restaurant in Beaufort. Great food and great service!

    5pm reservation was a good idea. Went from quiet to energetic by 6pm. Food and drink were both good, as was the service.
