   I dine at Brennan’s on a regular basis. The dining experience is always a delight. The cuisine is fresh and innovative and changes to take advantage of the seasonal produce and seafood found in the area. The cocktails are as innovative and delicious as the food. The cocktail menu includes the classics such as Brandy Milk Punch and Bloody Mary. There is also a changing cocktail menu that incorporates seasonal produce and celebrates what’s going on in New Orleans with names such as Irish Channel Parade, Jazz Fest, and Ponchatoula Strawberry Fest. What most impresses me with Brennan’s is the consistency in the food, beverages, and service…it is always excellent.

   We were very excited to get a reservation here and when we arrived it was beautiful and warm and welcoming. Our server was friendly and fun. Appitzers were delicious... Turtle Soup. Entrees were mediocre, bland not well balanced. Mine had a side of potato salad which was not listed and I did not like infact I did not order a different entree bc it came with the potato salad. We were disappointed. The manager came over to ask how our meal was. We explained our disappointment and he offered to buy our dessert. Bananas Foster was good but underwhelming. We never did receive our after dinner coffee we ordered and when we asked to cancel it we were given excuses about the asst waiter being in the bathroom. Being giving an excuse like that at this level of a dining experience was inappropriate and tacky. Our waitress seemed annoyed with us at this point but she had been great up until then. Our bill was as we expected and we left a tip but we were definitely disappointed in Brennan's.

   One of the two best pieces of fish that I have ever had. The team concept of the wait staff was exceptional!

   Excellent…only “unusual” feature with our breakfast…. in our experience most breakfasts come with a cup of coffee…. and we are not big coffee drinkers but like a cup. To pay ‘a lot’ of money for a jug of coffee when only a single, simple cup is desired, is outrageous. Otherwise, superb.

   We had an amazing dinner experience. Started off a little rough, the host was very unfriendly upon checking in at 6:28 for a 6:30 reservation (however it was for 6:45 so we were early) and stated he’d get to us in a bit and the bar is closed so we’d have to just wait around. Our server, Joe (aka Poodle) was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining and polite. He won us back. All the staff from there out was so kind, and so friendly. Our meal was delicious. The banana fosters is a must!

   wait staff short handed. Lots of people seated in front dining room. We had a table reserved for 2 months and was not available because they were short staffed.

   We were in town visiting our son and made reservations to celebrate out 30th Anniv. This was noted on my reservation but no other time did we mention this. Various Staff members stopped by our table no less than 6x and said Happy Anniv! Very impressed with the team as a whole they were professional, timely, courteous, knowledgeable. The food was full of flavor and memorable! Great experience overall! Will definitely be returning

    Ashley was great! Honest about a little mix up with an order and knowledgeable about Brennan’s history. She made things right. The birthday surprise was awesome and the banana fosters was amazing. We didn’t make it through the 100+ page wine list notebook but I’m pretty sure they have what you want. Bucket list ✅
