Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish & Crème Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks & grilled meats.

A favorite destination for locals & tourists alike, the Coronado Brigantine is located in the heart of the village, immediately adjacent to the historic Hotel Del Coronado.

Completely remodeled in 2016, the "new" Coronado Brigantine is an elegant adaptation of its former self. The addition of an intimate private dining room, a surround-seating bar and street-side outdoor patio have been equally well-received.

Our server was great, good personality, and took very good care of every detail. A great restaurant in Coronado, and walking distance to the theater.

                                                                Early Valentine's Trip for the hubsters and I. Had reservations and got in quickly. It was a Tuesday night. I had the Sanddabs & hubby had the Shrimp & Grits. The risotto and broccolini with my sanddabs dinner was great! I wish the sanddabs had more beurre blanc. It would have leveled up its flavor immensely! Sadly, my sanddabs were nothing to write home about. Hubby said his shrimp & grits lacked flavor as well. Didn't like the yellow grits as much either. Brigantine has a nice atmosphere and was a very short walk from where we were staying. Would we go back? Eh .... probably not.

                                                                I was a party of one on business travel. The reservation I requested was for an outdoor seat on arrival was placed in a back room that was empty. It felt a little like they didn’t wanna waste a good table on me and it took a while for the waiter to show up. The clam chowder was delicious and this swordfish was very good as this is their signature dish. Credit to the waiter he was very attentive and friendly.

                                                                Excellent food and service, with great value. The staff kindly accommodated our special seating request, making us feel very welcome. The oysters and clams were very well prepared. 3 of our party enjoyed the tasty wagu burgers. Great wine and cocktail offerings. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in this fantastic restaurant in Coronado. We’ll be back.

                                                                The food was trash! I ordered the sea bass special. It was so dry and overcooked. Tasted like cardboard. I ordered a lemonade. It was watered down so I ordered another one, thinking maybe something was wrong with the fountain machine. The 2nd one was worse than the first one. This place used to be really good. I’m not sure what happened. As a matter of fact, I was there last night to host 2 friends from NYC who wanted seafood. I was embarrassed I brought them here. Definitely will not be visiting again.
