   Beautiful location, service was good, food was average for the price… had a roast sunday dinner which came to our table within 3 mins of ordering, and within a few bites, you could tell it had been sitting at the pass for a while… potatoes were hard, beef was quite cold and my daiquiri drink tasted like it was watered down

   I have eaten at the Chop House, Butler’s Wharf on several occasions and it’s still a great place to dine. The staff are lovely and the food is quality (compliments to the chef)! and affordable. To top it off, the view of Tower Bridge is amazing!! It was my husband’s birthday weekend, and to start it off they made our dining experience, especially my husband’s, special. We highly recommend the Chop House, Butler’s Wharf. Thank you everyone x

   Unfortunately our family birthday meal here was awful. It almost seemed a problem that we had 2 push chairs. We waited over half an hour for drinks to come and then even longer for starters and mains to come. The food came cold and the meat undercooked. I asked for medium well and I received just about a medium. Didn’t feel the need to complain because the service was already poor and I just wanted out of there at this point. I could understand if it was busy, but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend.

   Very slow service despite restaurant being almost empty. Had to chase for starter after waiting 45 mins after ordering. Had to chase for wine to be refilled and also for soap to be out in ladies toilets. Only good point was manager apologised for poor service and removed optional service charge without having to be asked! Wouldn’t return in a hurry!

   Very slow service. I ordered a hamburger which was supposed to come with red onion, gherkins and a sauce.. it didn’t. I sent it back and it then arrived very overcooked. When I asked why it didn’t arrive as on the menu the answer was the chef thought you might have an issue with the ingredients.. strange. Had to get up from the table to eventually manage to pay the bill. Told the manager about the slow service and my food.. couldn’t care less. Won’t be going back!

   Das Essen war super lecker aber hatte auch seinen Preis. Wir hatten 3 Cheeseburger mit Pommes, 1 Flasche Wasser und 3 Aperol und weg waren 160 Euro!

   Nice location , had better for less money .. condiments took a long time to be brought to the table after the food was served.. had to ask for more gravy as the portions were small ..
